The King (1968). Monday Theater. Melodrama with Iakovos Psarras, Mattina Karras, Makis Revmatas, Rita Mousouri, Christos Doxaras, Tasos Kostis. A young Zakynthian bourgeois, Filippakis, and the daughter of the lord Dario Ronkalas, are in love. Ronkalas refuses to allow his daughter to marry the man she loves. Her despair does not move him. The father does not know the whole reality. When he finds out, the drama will take on wild proportions. And in the midst of it all, a pot of basil that will also play its role.
