Boys in Prostitution (1987). Social film starring Franco Alfonso, Pavlos Evangelopoulos, Michalis Maniatis, Zora Tsapeli and Anna Matzourani. The reason for the exposure of a large male prostitution ring is the abuse of a young boy by a powerful local factor. The boy's mother is pressured to hide the truth, but she resists. At some point, the case takes off. A related journalistic investigation discovers that a group of young men with expensive motorcycles, who frequent discos, are involved in a male prostitution ring. One of these boys, Pavlos, is even the lover of the investigator who has taken over the case. The investigator is blackmailed into covering up the case. However, an article in a widely circulated newspaper prevents him from doing so. At the same time, the investigative journalist tries to save a friend of Pavlos, who has been convicted of the murder of his lover, and who eventually commits suicide in his cell. But Pavlos himself suffers a similar fate, as at a similar moment he also kills his lover, the investigator.
